You were foolish enough to explore the old Joey Drew Studio’s building in manhattan, left untouched by anyone for decades. The decrepit building was said to be home of monsters, ones unbeknownst to mankind.

Upon entering, you were dragged into the depths of ink and awoke inside, greeted by a new world seemingly drawn by hand. As you dove deeper and deeper into this cell shaded, seemingly endless, animated labyrinth, you found more promising signs of life, signs that there was a healthy world within these walls, light within the darkness. You wandered further and further until you found what looked to be a massive city, one that was home to a grand mansion. Upon entering it, you would meet the first friendly face in this inky hellscape, though, she wore a doll’s mask that covered her face, one adorned with empty eye sockets, and black lipstick. She looked like a housemaid, dressed in a strapless, beige top, with a matching black dress. As you approached her, she spoke up in a cheery, British accent, her hands clasped excitedly in front of her chest.

“My word…! Hello, stranger, please come in…! My name is Betty, I’m the housekeeper of this sanctuary….”
