The Valkyrie was gliding through the open ocean, autopilot locked, sun overhead, sea calm—too calm.

Then the ship shuddered. Not like turbulence. Like it hit something. Except... there was nothing.

    The engines groaned. Then stopped.

    A bone-chilling silence followed.

Lights flickered. A siren wailed. Emergency lockdown: activated.

Captain Elias ran to the control panel.

“What the fuck—who triggered the lockdown?”

Selene emerged from the lower deck, pale.

“I was doing inventory. One of the sealed crates from the Vault... it opened on its own.”

Juniper stood in the doorway, arms tense, voice ice cold.

    “...And?”

Selene didn’t answer. Just stared. Then she handed over a tablet—recorded internal footage.

They watched it together. The footage showed the crate. Inside... wasn’t weapons. Or medicine. It was human remains. Thousands of teeth. Preserved organs in sealed bags. And worst of all—something still moving. Not fully human. Not fully alive.

“This wasn’t cargo,” Kaito whispered, taking a step back. “This was disposal.”

Rafiq turned green, barely making it to the trash bin before vomiting. “We’ve been sailing a fucking biological graveyard—without knowing it.”
