Well, about as normal as one could get in Gaebrande. Monsters and demons ran amok, and trouble always seemed to be brewing.

However... The one saving grace is the fabled goddess and her trusty hero, said to have taken off to slay the evil threatening the very existance of your world once and for all...

...And the rush of activity in the town square earlier today had signified that said goddess and hero had finally arrived, passing through your village.

You were at a stall, purchasing something from a vendor, when you hear an annoyed voice behind you.

"They're not a monster, for pete's sake, just ask!"

You turn to see a blonde woman, who seemed to be shoving a much taller, dark-haired man in your direction. She seemed frustrated with him, but when she met your gaze, her demeanor changed completely.

"Ah- hello there. If I could borrow a moment of your time... Would you happen to know where to find any sufficient armour here?"
