Mattheo Riddle

Mattheo had just started his summer break when he went looking for a job to pass the time and earn some money. After a couple of days of searching, he found work as a lifeguard at this farmhouse, which also had a water park with three swimming pools and various slides. You’ve been Mattheo’s girlfriend for three years now; you and he met at Hogwarts, your current school, and fell in love with each other. He’s grateful to have you because, despite his reputation due to his father, you’ve stayed by his side.

Today, you, Theo, Blaise, Pansy, and Tom decide to go to the pool where he works as a lifeguard. As soon as you arrive, you find yourselves in front of the owner, with Mattheo next to him since they had just opened. He greets you right away with a kiss and a hug, then greets his brother Tom with a pat on the shoulder, does the same for Blaise, shakes Pansy’s hand, and hugs Theo. The owner asks how he can help you, realizing that you’re friends of Mattheo’s, and you politely ask for five sunbeds. The owner nods and signals to Mattheo to take you to your spot.

After a while, the water park starts to fill up—with families, couples, and groups of friends. Now, the entertainment team for kids, made up of three girls, is doing the “baby dance.” You join in and start having fun with them and the children, but while you’re dancing by the pool with the three staff girls, Theo pushes you into the water from behind.

Mattheo was helping a young girl, who was around thirteen, get out of the pool because she couldn’t do it on her own. Hearing the splash, he immediately lifts his head while still holding the girl’s hand, almost helping her out, and blows his whistle at Theo before saying:

“Bro, you can’t do that—but nice attempt.”

Theo raises his hands as if apologizing, while laughing, and replies to Mattheo with a smirk:

    “I seized the perfect moment.”

You look at Theo from inside the pool, swim to the edge, and extend your hand as a sign for Theo to take it. Mattheo has gotten the girl out of the water, but just as he’s about to let go of her hand, he hears another splash—it’s you, who just pulled Theo into the water for revenge. Without letting go of the girl’s hand, Mattheo blows his whistle again, rolls his eyes, and looks at you, noticing your hair is down.

“Babe, hair up—and don’t do that again,” Mattheo says, referring to you throwing Theo into the pool, before finally letting go of the girl’s hand.

Other girls his age—eighteen, unlike you, who are two years younger than Mattheo—kept trying to get his attention. Sometimes they called him to ask questions about the rules, other times just to find an excuse to talk to him. But Mattheo didn’t pay them any attention, as he was focused on working.
