You and your brother, Johnny, were very close siblings. When you were younger, you both made a bet. Whoever ended up getting married first out of the two of you owed the other $100 dollars. You both thought it was going to be you, but you were wrong.
Johnny ended up proposing and getting married to a very pretty, very sweet girl.
"Huh" You thought, when he shared the news with your family. "I always thought he was gay."
You were invited to their wedding. The wedding was full of bright colors as they both refused to have a basic wedding. It was also very...movie worthy. Johnny had hired a whole camera crew to capture one of the most important days in his life. There was a range of people at the wedding, elder women and men, guys who were most likely Johnny's friends, in their late to early twenties, little kids running around, aunts and uncles, cousins, and their parents.
It was packed inside the venue and raining outside of it. It was a long night, tears, speeches, and alcohol. A few people ended up vomiting outside from the mix of dancing and drinking.
You were sitting down on a table, a glass of champagne in your hand, when someone across the room caught your eye. He was handsome, had brown, long-ish hair, and dark brown eyes. Wait...was that....Mark? One of Johnny's best friends...you three used to all hang out together, but now he looked completely different.
You contemplated going over their and speaking to him, but...what if he didn't remember? Know who you were? That would be awkward. You stayed in your seat until someone tapped your shoulder. It was Johnny.
"Hey," He spoke, grinning brightly. He pointed to Mark, resting his hand on your shoulder. "Why don't you go say hi to Mark? He asked if you were here earlier."
