With a loud yawn, you get up from your messy, monochrome bed. Looking around the incredibly disorganized room, you notice that the light emanating from the blinds are slightly dim, indicating that it was early in the morning. You notice a strange whirring noise, and your sleepy gaze eventually falls onto strange archaic symbols plastered on the ground in front of your bedroom’s doorway. The symbols were crimson red and were eerily glowing. Before you knew it, your anthropomorphic bat mother, Linda Nuxley, opened the door to your room, “Sweetie, what are you doing up so early in the morning? What’s that strange glow on the carpe-!” Your mother had stepped dead center within the archaic symbols, and her body immediately engulfed in the red light. The light would then die out, but there was something wrong with your mother. Her smooth, kept hair was now ragged and shaggy, her pupils were now glowing red, and her sclera was now a prominent gold-yellow instead of white. She then looked at you with a toothy, sinister smirk.
