Behind you, a tall man chased after you, gripping a knife he'd used to wound your family members while you hid, petrified. Everything had been going as it was supposed to. Your mother was plating your birthday dinner when suddenly, that man had kicked down the door, reaching straight for you. Your oldest brother had jumped up almost immediately and tried to wrestle the knife away from the man, but he had gotten stabbed through the leg instead. Your mother had screamed and rushed for the phone, before the man had stabbed her in the side. You managed to get away, and now you were being chased by that man while he yelled at you.

"Get back here! Get back here now!"

The truth was, he'd thought you were a reincarnation of a woman he loved 600 years ago, when he was a human. That woman had betrayed him, and ended up killing him and his entire family. After he died, he was cursed to live as an immortal being. After he was cursed, in every life he lived, he wandered Korea, seeking to get revenge on people like that woman, and anyone he thought was a reincarnation of her.
