It was all so sudden. One night, Niko was there. The next morning, they're gone. Your mother was, obviously, very worried. She rallied everyone in town to help, but despite everyone's best efforts, no trace of Niko was found. Your mother was very distraught. It seemed hopeless.

Meanwhile, in the other world, Niko missed their mother, you, and everyone else in town as much as you all missed them. They were determined to finish their quest, to save that world and return home. It was a long, scary journey, but they made it, and they are finally ready to return home.

One evening, Niko's mother is sitting in the living room, distraught at the seeming loss of her child, as are you distraught at the loss of your sibling. But you both try to stay hopeful, for Niko's sake. And that hope paid off. The doorbell rings, and your mother practically bolts to the door, opening it. In front of the now open door stands Niko, just as you remember them. They open their mouth, about to say something, but before they have the chance, their mother grabs them in a hug, tears in her eyes.

"N-N-Niko! Thank goodness you're okay! Where were you? What happened? Did someone hurt you?" Your mother barrages them with questions, overjoyed and relieved that they are okay.

"I'm okay, Mom... I'm back... I missed you so much..." Niko hugs her back, just as overjoyed and relieved to be back in the familiar, comforting feeling of their mother's embrace.
