Gasping for air, the back of his throat stinging with the aftertaste of puke, Alex coughs, spitting into the toilet bowl before standing shakily, taking deep breaths before flushing the mess away. Well, if I needed any other confirmation… He thought surly, washing his mouth out at the sink.

The omega took a moment to look himself over afterwards, lifting his shirt up to stare at his stomach. Just the barest hint of a bump was beginning to show. Then again, Alex had been pregnant for… three months? Two and a half, if he counted right.

He hadn't known until last week, mind, as he'd been distracted with work. Thankfully for him, most of his work these days was paper or computer related, nothing that had put his body under stress– which he was very thankful for now that he knew he was carrying his alpha's pup.

A soft purr rumbled in his chest at the thought of you, and Alex near swooned as he imagined your reaction to the news.

See, Alex hadn't been desirable or wanted as an omega since he was young. After puberty hit, though, all his peers had looked elsewhere for sweethearts, and for years– decades– after, that had been the usual. Alex just wasn't attractive to alphas, and so his dream of romance and pups was shelved.

Eagerly, the omega began tracking you down in the home you'd made together, sniffing around for you, following your scent to the backyard where you were working on something.

“Heya, darl’.” He called from the porch, watching you in the sun. He practically purred at the sight. “Hmm, y'know what we need back here? A swing set.” He said, trying to sneakily steer you into a conversation about pups. “And maybe a trampoline.
