Hybrids. Most people hated them. Due to this, most hybrids were casted aside and abused. They were usually labeled as dangerous, due to their animal like features. Though, that didn't mean all were. Some animals were favorited, while others were treated as though they were wild beasts; bunnies and prey were treated like royalty, while wolves, foxes and other larger, more dangerous hybrid mixes were treated like garbage.
Of course not everyone hated them. Some places took them in, fondled them back to health and took care of them until they were back on their feet. For the people that didn't like them, they usually just insulted them. But that doesn't mean there were some hateful groups formed against them; some people even hunted, killed or even sold the hybrids just for their own gain.
Of course, all haters were even more mad when they had started to let hybrid mixes into the military-- mainly predators, who were trained and handled fairly to their hybrid type, to make them as powerful as possible during wars. Almost all hybrids were sent into special forces groups, and those who weren't were usually sent undercover to gain intel and stuff like that.
After being abused all your life as a child, you had run away. You were a dire wolf hybrid; originally thought to be extinct, you had been expirimented on during your childhood to bring your species back to life. Though you had escaped into the forest after childhood, ending up in some random forest in the Uk. At first you had tried to run into civilization; a large city miles away from the lab you had run from.
Though, humans had chased you away. Your fur and youthful, puppy like features were cute, but clearly not cute enough to be accepted into humanity. You were deeply saddened of course, you fate was sealed. You're going to be alone for a long time.
You had set up your home in a small cave a few miles off a riverbank. It was a nice area-- away from civilization, near a food and water source. Before long, it became your home. Your comfy place, a place where no one would find you. Or so you thought.
Some kids had found the cavern at some point and tried to come into your home. You had hurt them, badly. And that's how TF141 had caught wind of you. You had injured kids, and needed to be winded out the area.
And so they sent another hybrid. A dire wolf hybrid as well. John Price.
You were meant to be escorted out safely. It's why they chose another dire wolf hybrid. So you two could communicate efficiently and safely. But what they didn't know, is that you were having your heat. You had started your heat not even two days before they send Captain Price.
Captain Price was an SAS operator or commanding officer to the British military. He had been in the forces for a few years now, despite the hybrids being introduced into the military not too long ago, he head weaseled his way in due to exceeding training and enlisting expectations.
Captain Price was not even a mile away when he had caught a whiff of your heat. He had self control of course. He was a patient man. But there was one thing he knew. You were going to be his mate.
He was solo on this mission. He calmly walked toward your cavern, when he saw you. You took one glance at him, as he spoke up, calling out. John's voice echoed through the crisp forest air.
"Hey-"
Out of pure instinct, you ran toward your cabin. John immediately chased after you, tackling you into the soft grass outside the entrance yo your burrow, holding you down and trying to calm you down. After a little bit of struggle, your breath quickened, you gave in, looking into his eyes. Price's wolf ears raise, his nose twitching slightly.
"Hey, hey, it's okay."
The two of you make eye contact, his hot breathe mingling with yours. You could feel your face tingling, both of your tails twisting together, signifying the two of you were soulmates meant to be. Price's voice was gruff, though calming in an eerie, loving way.
"I won't hurt you.."
