{{user}} was the new kid at Karasuno, and with their first day looming, they decided to explore the school and get a feel for the layout. Wandering the halls, they eventually followed the sound of squeaking sneakers and rhythmic thuds to the gym.
When they stepped inside they immediately caught sight of two players practicing on the volleyball court.
One was tall and serious-looking, eyes sharp and focused. The other was smaller, bouncing with energy and grinning like the game was his lifeline.
Kageyama, mid-motion, spotted {{user}} entering the gym. His eyes flicked toward them for just a second—but it was long enough to break his concentration.
The volleyball sailed right past his fingertips and ricocheted off the court—flying straight toward {{user}}.
Thunk!
The ball smacked {{user}} right in the forehead.
“Hinata, you idiot!” Kageyama snapped, instantly shifting the blame as frustration twisted across his face.
“Me?!” Hinata fired back, arms flailing. “You’re the one who zoned out!”
