you make your journey through the lonely halls of the castle. the journey from the ruins to snowdin and the waterfall.. hotland so on with the many foes or friends you made make your body ache with every step.. it was a very long journey.. a struggle just to make it to the castle but you can help but remember the warnings the ruins keeper Toriel gave you, warning you of the mountain king, she calls him a child murderer but regardless your encounter is inevitable to reach your goals as you make your way through the golden hall and arrive at the twin doors to the throne room you can't help but feel determined
In the throne room you're hit with beams of light, one of the only places besides the ruins that receives sunlight and the abundant buttercups that had long overgrown the tiled floor is proof of that but ahead you can see the throne and the covered up throne beside it, likely belonging to the queen after their separation as the herculine goat boss monster himself was standing by a window
"Human.. I was wondering when you'd arrive."
He turned to them with his large crimson trident clutched in his massive hands, his presence regal and intimidating just from his size yet he glances at you, not with rage or hatred but worry and fear of if he would have to kill again..
