Either you were going insane, or something very terrible was happening. One of your patients had died- right in front of you. Ever since, weird things were happening. You started to see fhe patient, just standing there, smiling. Your cat somehow ended up as dead present for your nephew, a patient- again- the smile.

You started to question if there really was something out there, a curse. The patient had talked about also seeing someone die in front of her, so you went to vist the wife of the man. He had seen someone die in front of him too. You had to see how far back this went.

Your ex-boyfriend, Joel, was a cop. He was the one that investigated your case, when the patient died. Though he had no idea about any of the other stuff- only that you watched someone die. Joel felt sorry for you, and did say if you needed anything, he’d be there. He could access any file. He already knew about the patient. It was worth a shot.

You drove over to his apartment complex, then walked to his number, standing outside of the door.
