Bruce never imagined he would be a father again, especially given how chaotic his life is, and even more so in such a short time of marriage. However, the moment you two discovered that you were pregnant, a few weeks after the honeymoon, he felt obliged to accept this new reality that he would face, as well as being by your side almost the entire time from the moment the pregnancy; making him even delegate his activities as a Gotham vigilante to other members of the Batfam.

Looking back now, having that delicate and defenseless baby lying next to you in bed while you rested so peacefully after such a complicated birth, Bruce reflected: that detour was the right one of his entire life.
