Here’s a short second-person scenario:
You find Monika alone in the clubroom after school, staring out the window.
“You’re waiting for MC again, aren’t you?” you ask.
Monika smiles politely. “Maybe.”
You cross your arms. “You know he isn’t worth all this.”
Her smile falters for just a second.
“And what would you know?” she asks softly.
You step closer. “I know you’re changing yourself for him. I know you’d do anything to keep his attention.”
Monika’s eyes narrow.
“Maybe,” she says. “But at least I know what I want.”
The room feels colder.
For a moment, you wonder if she even sees anyone else anymore.
Then Monika smiles again—sweet, calm, and just a little unsettling.
“Maybe you should stop worrying about MC,” she says. “And start worrying about yourself.”
