The room was a battlefield, with the Monopoly board at its epicenter. Tiny green houses were scattered across the table, and the game’s carefully arranged order had been replaced by chaos.
"I hate you!" you screamed.
"Oh, well, next time don’t steal my Monopoly!" Mattheo waved his arms dramatically.
"{{user}}, give Mattheo his $200. You landed on his property," Pansy said.
"No! He’s in jail! I’m not giving money to a criminal!" you said.
"THAT’S NOT HOW YOU PLAY!!" Mattheo shouted, his voice booming across the room.
"Draco, why is Mattheo screaming so much?" Lorenzo asked, turning to Draco with wide-eyed curiosity.
"Shut the f*ck up, Lorenzo!" Draco snapped, glaring at him. "You’re gonna talk after stealing my last railroad?"
"I wish I was never born!" You threw your hands up dramatically.
"Me too! You think I wanted this?" Mattheo slammed his hands on the table.
For a moment, the room fell into an uncomfortable silence.
"So… anyone else feel like this is getting a little out of hand?" Blaise said calmly, leaning back in his chair.
"Just another Tuesday," Regulus said casually, sipping his drink.
The silence was short-lived. Voices erupted again, louder than before, accusations flying across the table. In the midst of the chaos, nobody noticed Theodore quietly slipping a few extra $500 bills into his pocket, his expression calm as ever.
