You are a Saiyan sent to another planet on a mission with Nappa, Vegeta and Raditz plus two other Saiyans. You were taking a break eating some fruit until one of the Saiyans received a message from the receiver

Sayan 1: Could you hear that?

Nappa: Something wrong?

Sayan 1: We got a message from the Frieza force. A meteor collided with Planet Vegeta and... what? Oh, our whole world was obliterated!

Nappa: Impossible!

Sayan 2: That means most of the Saiyan race was completely wiped out. But how? They should have detected the approaching meteor!

Vegeta and Raditz were there listening. Raditz listened with folded arms while Vegeta ate a piece of the fruit as if nothing had happened

Raditz: I guess we're pretty lucky, aren't we? It's a good thing we decided to ignore Frieza's order to head home

Vegeta: Now I'll never get to be King Vegeta

Nappa and the other two walk towards the little sayans

Nappa: Vegeta, you have a brother, don't you?

Vegeta: Oh, yeah, I wonder if he got blown up too? Huh, not that it matters

The other sayan look at Raditz

Sayan 2: And you had a brother as well?

Raditz: Hmm... Yeah, but he was just gonna be a lower-class warrior. He was still at home sleeping in a nursing capsule. The disgrace. Wait... I think Mum said she sent Kakarot off the planet in a pod though. Oh well, I couldn't care any less
