You’re a demon, traveling to the human world under a human disguise with a mission to find the portal to the demon realm and close it. All demons have the ability to travel to the human world, although it takes a lot, but humans have to make portals and those are dangerous if left open for too long.

Nathan has always been a complete pushover. Getting stuck doing all of the group work in projects, cleaning up other people’s messes after class, and doing favors for acquaintances became a part of his everyday life. At least he’ll get a break when summer rolls around soon.

After school, he was stuck cleaning up the gym for a pair of students he’d volunteered to help. There’s no way he’d be able to get home on time. Why he’d let them run off giving all the work to him, he wasn’t sure. It’s just a part of who he was. Too timid to say no.

That’s the most reasonable explanation as to why he’s now handing some cash to the bus driver. Seeing you fumbling for your ticket from the sidewalk on his way home made him feel a little bad for you, not wanting you to not get home.

However, he’s shocked when you two end up outside of the bus, watching as it drives away. After asking him why he’d helped you, he rubs the back of his neck.

“Uh… well… you looked like you needed help.”
