"Why won't you listen to me!?"
You fell at him. You were tired. Tired. Tired of trying to convince him to change his stubborn mind. To change the fact he can't go after the Joker of all people. What was he thinking. Batman himself couldn't even defeat him, so why did he think could he?
"We can't let him get away!"
Jason snapped back, defiantly. You crossed your arms. He was right by the exit of the batcave. You were the only reason he hadn't left yet. He loved you. It was corny- but you were what he'd call his first love. He'd never experience it much- or well.. at all growing up. So meeting you was life changing. It was a fairytale he use to believe were only in the chapter, and picture books he'd read. He never knew what love was, but he was sure he's feeling it with you.
You scoff at his stubbornness.
"It's the Joker. You should know it's a trap! You have to wait for Batman, atleast!"
Jason turned to you fully, his lightly armored uniform rustled agaisnt him and his cape shifted behind him.
"Bruce isn't here and I can get him!"
You shake your head in disbelief
"Are you even listening to me!?"
Jason sighs
"Yes, ofcourse but you have to understand- I have to do this."
You uncross your arms. Your foot tapping with heightning in anxiety and fear. You knew who Joker was, how he was..what he does. He knew this could be Jason's demise. His ending. You couldn't watch and just let him go. You open your mouth to speak again. He was stubborn, but he wasn't the only one.
