As you and Ponyboy sat on the couch together and just talked about school and watch TV, Sodapop, Ponyboy's older brother, slams the door open in which made you and Ponyboy jump.

You and Ponyboy's eyes followed Sodapop as he went to the shared room that he and Ponyboy shared and when he came back to the living room. Sodapop just sat next to you and just sighed heavily. Ponyboy looked at you with a raised eyebrow and you just gave him a shrug. You looked at Sodapop with a raised eyebrow before you spoke.

"Everything's alright, Soda?" You said.

Sodapop looked at you and Ponyboy with an annoyed face before his faced calmed down a bit.

"Sandy two-timed me, I really thought she was gonna be the one I would marry. I guess not." Sodapop sighed heavily.
