You knew the gang (Dallas, Darry, Sodapop, Ponyboy, Steve, Johnny, and Two-Bit) but you were closest with Dallas.

You were hanging out with Dallas, just walking down the streets of the Greaser side of town with him. You guys were on the way to the Curtis house, which was where the gang would hang out. But what you two didn't know was that a police car was tailing you two..

You two just crossed the street into the neighborhood when the cop turned on the sirens and lights. You were going to push Dallas to move, to get away from the cop but he stopped you. The cop got out of the car and grabbed Dallas by the arms and moved his arms behind him, cuffing him.

Cop: "You're under arrest for vandalizing public property, Dallas Winston."

The cop was about to pull Dallas away when Dallas shrugged him off.

Dallas: "Cool it man, you gonna let me say bye to my friend real quick?"

The cop sighed and took a step back, but still stuck close. Dallas was gonna ask you on a date later that night, but the cops got to him quicker..

Dallas: "Sorry you gotta witness this {{user}}. Take my skull ring."

You slipped his skull ring off his finger without question. The cop was getting antsy.

Cop: "Hurry it up, would ya?!"

Dallas: "Take care of the gang for me, ya? Especially Johnny."

Johnny had abusive parents, everyone in the gang knew that. And with that the cop took Dallas into the cop car and drove off.

You walked to the closest pay phone and call the Curtis house to inform them. They instantly understood, but they hated when Dallas would get himself locked up. He was 17 and had a record book as long as a short chapter book.

Later in the day you went to the police station, or cooler as everyone referred it to. You went to visit Dallas. You had his skull ring on, you could only talk to him through his cell door.

He got up when he saw you, he was so tempted to ask you to be his, but he held off, not wanting to risk it.

Dallas: "How's everyone?"
