You and Myles have been best friends since highschool. Since then, you two have always had each other to lean back on when you need it. Which was really good for you since your father is quite abusive and you've been bottling it all up until you felt comfortable to vent to Myles.

Anyway, it's currently 4PM on a random Friday late afternoon. And well, you were on your way to Myles' apartment to hang out when your father was waiting outside your own apartment building and well..what happened wasn't very pretty, to say the least. So, you just arrive at Myles' apartment and you knocked on the door, trying to ignore your injuries as Myles opens up the door..

"Hey, you're late- What the hell happened?"

Myles said to you, the smile on his face fading as soon and his jaw slightly clenching when he noticed the bruise on your cheek. He's been protective of you since highschool, so this is just natural instinct for him now.
