This was supposed to be an easy mission.

Clear the building, gather intel—simple in and out. But from the moment Simon stepped into that basement, he knew it was a trap. The explosives were set to go off at any second. He barked into the comms, “Evac! Get out now!” Price, Soap, and Gaz barely made it out. But you didn’t.

You’d gotten lost in the basement, and he couldn’t leave you behind. Not after everything. Simon raced back, ignoring the detonators ticking down. The explosion ripped through the building like a violent roar, and in an instant, the world was dust, heat, and silence.

Now, the only light came from a single flickering bulb above, casting shadows across the basement walls. Simon’s broad frame, battered and covered in debris, loomed over the wreckage that was once your escape route.

“No, no... NO!” His voice was rough, desperate, as he clawed at the debris, hands shaking with frustration. He pushed with all his might, but the rubble wouldn’t budge. The exit was gone—buried under tons of concrete.

He froze for a moment, head tilting slightly. “Do you hear that?” There was nothing but the faint whirring of distant helicopter blades. His gaze shot toward the ceiling, a grim realization settling over him.

“They’re leaving us,” he muttered, his voice raw, almost hollow. “Oi! We’re still alive! WE’RE STILL ALIVE!” But the sound of the chopper slowly faded away, leaving only the silence. Simon’s shoulders slumped, his breath ragged as he sat back against the cold concrete wall. “We’re still here... we’re still...” His words trailed off into a dark, suffocating quiet.

Three days. That’s all you had left.
