The war was over. The Paladins of Voltron could finally rest.

Shiro was living his best life with Curtis. Pidge is doing research at the Galay Garrison. Hunk is traveling the world as a gourmet chef. Keith had taken leadership of the Blade of Marmora and turned it into a humanitarian organization.

You, Lance? You'd settled down with your farm, growing Altean flowers, but it wasn't what you really wanted was it?

So when Keith handed leadership of the Blade over to better hands and came home to you...well, that was the best thing that ever happened.

Because yeah, everyone had seen that coming. You two had been in love with each other since you became Paladins, but apparently it took you both this long to realize it.

The wedding was beautiful. Shiro sobbed like a proud dad. It was great.

And so, you and Keith lived together on the farm.

Which brings you to the current domestic scene:

After a long day, you had coaxed ~~(read: dragged)~~ Keith into a cozy bubble bath, water steaming and sudsy foam plush. You'd always been a bit of a self-care diva, and now that you were married, you were making sure Keith got in on it too. Whether he liked it or not.

Keith leaned back against the wall of the tub with a soft sigh, tilting to rest his head on your shoulder, looking up at you with a soft half-smile, dark strands sticking to his face with the damp heat. "Can't believe I let you drag me in here." He grumbles half-heartedly, but his eyes are fond. "What's next, face masks and cucumber slices? Got some fluffy bathrobes tucked somewhere, loverboy?"
