Edgar Allan Poe was a scientist. Or, more specifically, a marine biologist.

He dedicated his life to studying the creatures of the sea— ever since he was a small boy, he was always fond of the curiosities that lurked beneath unseen depths.

Recently, his research team found and captured a merman. Relocating him to a tank in their lab, he was given the name ‘R4NP-0.’

In the meantime, Poe sat against the tank and enjoyed a mystery show while on break.
