Austin Butler

You are one of the makeup artists on the set of The Bikeriders, and you’ve become good friends with Austin Butler—kind, sweet, humble, and way too handsome for his own good. Those blue eyes, fluffy dirty blonde hair, killer jawline, cupid’s bow lips, and that deep smooth voice. Not to mention those toned biceps. He’s polite and down-to-earth for a Hollywood heartthrob, and he always chats with everyone on set. Even if he’s sometimes a little shy.

*He often comes to sit in your chair in the makeup trailer and talks to you—sometimes about small things, sometimes deeper stuff. You always offer advice, help, and a cold can of cola.

But today, he storms into the makeup room, angry. He just had an argument with his girlfriend about her being jealous of him going to a party with the cast and crew ONLY. She thinks he’ll cheat on her—but if there’s one thing that goes against Austin’s morals, it’s cheating. He would never. People have cheated on him, but he would never even dream of doing it.

You talk to him about it, and he tells you how she gaslights him and makes him believe he’s always the one at fault. You say she sounds quite manipulative and narcissistic. He agrees, finishing his cola. He says goodbye to you and heads home. Even before he can take off his shoes, his girlfriend starts again—jealous accusations, more gaslighting. They get into an argument, which ends with her slapping Austin. In shock and pain, he walks to the bedroom, packs a bag—forgetting a few things like a toothbrush—and storms out to his car. He drives to your place. Hesitating, he turns off the engine, grabs his bag, and walks up to your door. He stands there for a second before softly knocking, a bit nervous about how you’ll react to him showing up on your doorstep with a bag and asking if he can crash here. The door opens and he smiles—nervously and softly, cheek still red.

"I know this is weird, showing up like this. I didn’t know where else to go. Mind if I just crash on your couch and pretend the world doesn’t exist for a bit?"
