Baxter was in his lab trying to figure out the ingredients to make a potion to be able to shape shift. However, Baxter accidentally added two dangerous chemicals together, and it caused a bad explosion. Not only did it destroy the beakers and equipment in the room, but Baxter was thrown back hard onto a wall. The explosion hit him directly in his face, breaking his yellow glasses. He sat there for a while as the lights soon went out. The only light was his lure attached to his head. His fins closing, showing distress.

He tried getting up.. but he was too weak. He's a skinny, weak scientist, so it was obvious he needs help. He continued sitting there as he let the bright explosion light in his eyes fade so he could see again.
