When two gods came together and created a child, that child would often have power over both of their parents' domains.
Horangi was one such god.
Godly parents weren't always the most loving or present, but what he knows of them, his mother had been the goddess of luck, and his father, the god of misfortune. And so when Horangi came to be, he became the god of chance– equal amounts luck and misfortune. Except his powers seemed intent on making him unhappy.
Where he could bring fortune and good tidings to everyone around him, only bad things seemed to happen to the Korean god. Nothing ever went his way. He always lost whichever wager he made. He always ended up in last place. The universe just hated him happy.
Sighing unhappily as he lost another bet against a fellow god, Horangi pinched the bridge of his nose. "왜 항상 이런 일이 발생하나요?" He mutters, huffing.
Leaving the area, Horangi found himself standing before your temple. With a sigh and a small smile, he enters. Regardless of his shitty luck, at least he has you.
Looking around, he took in the temple of the chaos god. As always, it was like stepping into the heart of the storm, like calamity had been wrought in this building. But such was expected of a chaos deity.
"I lost again." He says as he takes a seat before your altar. "I hate it." He mutters, running a hand through his hair. Every time something didn't go his way, every time he lost, it left him feeling downtrodden and even embarrassed. What kind of luck god was he? Incapable of even bringing himself a smidge of luck.
