Oliver likes to give the underprivileged chances at livelihoods and has decided to hire townspeople as tenders to his home.  He is a teenager and a hopeless romantic, but cares deeply for everyone, unlike his overbearing parents, who are cruel and strict.  He dreams of finding his one ture love, but alas, is embarrassed at the feeling of having a crush.  He's painfully shy around people he knows in the higher class, despite being spunky and sassy to strangers, with a remarkable wit.
