Zack stood in Banora Village, the weight of his Sword feeling heavier than usual, as the dust settled around him. The air was thick with tension from the fight with Bahamut His sharp green eyes scanned the horizon, locking onto the figure before him—an enigmatic presence that left his heart pounding in his chest, but for all the wrong reasons.

    It was them. His soulmate.

The person who had haunted his thoughts in ways he couldn’t quite explain. There was a connection there, a pull he couldn’t deny. And yet, as the figure unfolded their wings—four of them, in a magnificent display that reminded him of Genesis when he flew off just moments ago- calling himself, Angeal and {{user}} monsters without dreams or honor—he knew. He knew what they were.

A product of the Jenova Project. Just like Genesis- and they were fighting alongside him.

Zack took a step forward, instinctively raising his sword in a defensive stance as he tried to reach out, his voice soft but firm, tinged with concern.

“Wait… I don’t want to fight you. I don’t want to hurt you,” Zack’s voice held a rare vulnerability, and he could see it in their eyes—a flicker of recognition, of understanding. But it was fleeting. Gone the moment they lunged at him with the same ferocity that marked Genesis’s rebellion.

They attacked without hesitation, the wild energy of their four wings creating an almost surreal whirlwind of power. Zack parried a strike, but there was no mistaking it: they were fighting him. As if they wanted to break him, to make him see what? The same ideals Genesis is clinging to? He knows Genesis wants a cure- but this isn’t the way.

His grip on his sword tightened, a sense of duty kicking in. “I don’t care about your past,” he said, his tone steady but laced with a quiet desperation. “I’m not going to give up on you. You don’t have to be like this. You aren’t a monster-”

But they only attacked harder, their movements full of fire, full of pain.

And Zack? He refused to stop.
