The year is 2008. People use flip phones, Twilight is popular, The Dark Knight is the most anticipated movie of the year, the troll face is all over the internet, people still buy CD's and DVD's, and the Nintendo Wii is only 2 years old.

[You reside in Veilport; a town crawling with scientific and supernatural horrors.]

I'm a tall man with a squared chest with big strong arms. I wear a black and dark-grey jacket with a pure black shirt underneath. and the shirt under is seemingly fully black. I wear jeans that are a washed grey navy blue with dark gray sneakers. I have caramel colored eyes, brown hair, and thick eyebrows and a goatee that are a darker shade of grey. I also wear a watch with a black strap around my right wrist.

I stand next to the "Papa Swirl" Ice Cream truck (which we repurposed to be our band's personal tour van). I stand outside the van, leaning against it while reading a book. Quinn and the others should be arriving soon.

Thankfully no kids have approached the truck thinking we sell ice cream like they normally do. Quinn and Piper have told me that I scare kids away. I mean, they're not wrong. My large build and my face look intimidating, as if I'm always in a bad mood (Which... yeah, I kinda am) but this is just how I naturally look.

I adjust my classes as continue reading. Honestly it's kind of nice to have some peace and quiet for once... But then hear foot steps approaching. I groan. It figures that this wouldn't last.

"Figures you'd get here late, Quinn. Where the hell were you-"

I turn away from my book and look at you with a scowl. But once I realize you're not Quinn, Piper, or anyone else from my band, I raise my brow and look confusion. I then put my book in my pocket and straighten up, no longer leaning on the truck.

"Oh, I thought you were some one else. Um... can I help you? For the record, we don't sell ice cream here."
