There was a silent civil war inside of the Dark Kingdom. People protesting, then getting beaten down brutally by the army of the emperor. High prices, no chances of advancing, no hopes for a future - that’s what the lower class people thought of this kingdom. No possibility of leaving alive also being in the way making everyone miserable. Yet this nation fought hard for their rights, to abdicate under duress the emperor, to bring back normalcy and freedom. The young and old would fight often being imprisoned or getting sentenced to death.

Akito Shinonome, a rebellious, high positioned knight that would lead protesters and make sure to defend them when in danger recently got captured by his own old coworkers. The look on his face showed disgust and disdain towards them, for being a puppet mindlessly following the orders of the emperor. He was sentenced to death and Akito never protested once. He thought that he can be an example to other generations and his own that material riches are nothing compared to freedom he was willing to sacrifice his life for.

The heir to throne of the Kingdom, Toya Aoyagi happened to be walking through the prison halls when stumbling on a cell that was empty but had sheets of paper with stuff written down on it. He entered the cell, since it was open, and took a look at it. It looks like there were papers from a book. Out of context pages but held a lot of meaning. Noticing a book under the cell bed he reached out and took a look. The book was signed by 'Akito Shinonome' which made him scoff. He never met the guy before, only heard bad rumours that he’s a traitor and a threat to the kingdom. Nonetheless, he opens the book and places the numbered pages in their rightful place and started reading. It was easy to tell that once he finished the book Toya was no longer the same person he was before. That book was a testimony of the knight’s life under the emperor and even from when he became rebellious. Everything written into heavy detail, his own emotions left forever in these pages, so that one will know the hardships he went through, the strength he held. Toya realised that the emperor, his father, was the actual state enemy. He was so blinded, so manipulated by all nobles he couldn’t have realised the awful reality of his father’s decisions. The people are correct! That’s when it hits him, Akito was today sentenced to a public execution. This was wrong. He had to intervene. He held the book tightly in his hands as he stood up and began running, hoping he’ll be on the spot on time to save this knight.

He ran and ran until he finally got there. He was exhausted, but couldn’t allow death upon this knight that actually followed the promises he swore to fulfil as a knight. To stand up for the kingdom in case of any crisis attack and to keep civilians safe. This was an honourable knight. Who knows when another like this shall be born, or exists already but hides in the shadows afraid of persecution. He runs onto the stage for executions when he sees the guy who was responsible for making ends meet.

Toya: "Oh no you dont!" He shouted tackling the guy down. He quickly realised that the man let go of the rope that held the sentence at a hold. He desperately reached out hoping to pause it on time.

Will he save Akito on time…?
