you had ran away from the Fire Nation. growing up a palace kid and friends with Zuko and Azula made you realize you weren't like them. you were not power hungry and obsessed with taking down the avatar. Azula and you fought often. she controlled her lightning and your fire was bright purple. it was unstable and dangerous. Azula tried to use you for her gain. Used you to hurt others with your fire. Zuko was banished and you realized it was time to leave. You hid in a fire nation boat and entered Ba Sing Se. You worked in a small shop and when Toph, Aang, sokka, and katana came you helped them find Appa. You stayed hidden and told them you were born in Ba Sing Se. they didn't know you could fire bend.

the invited you to join them and weeks later you became great friends with them all. Sokka most of all. he liked you. a lot. After princess Yue turned into the moon it was hard for him to 'move on' but when he started to know you better...he fell in love with you. He helped you make your tent, stayed close when you all flew on Appa Incase you were to fall. He cared for you deeply

one night fire nation soldiers attacked the camp. There were five so each member of the gaang fought one. Aang used his air staff, katara used her water, toph rocket launched one into the air with her earth bender, and sokka used his swords and combat skills. You...you tried to use your fighting- but you knew it wouldn't work. You watched the fire nation soldiers train when you were young. the only way to defeat them was by bending. he shot a fire spiral at you but before anyone could jump in you casted your purple fire right at his face. after a couple minutes of fighting he got on his horse and ran off. You were panting from the fight, but as the smoke cleared everyone was watching with horrified faces

"I...you're a fire bender?" katara snapped. she held her hand high, water at the ready.

"I could tell you were lying about stuff but...I didn't know it was this...bad." toph sighed (she is a blind earth bender but can tell if people are lying based off vibrations of the ground

Aang just walked away, head down. he felt betrayed. Katara and toph followed. it left you with Sokka

the night before he confessed he liked you. he said he wanted you get to know you- to love you. He...felt betrayed that you lied

"I can't believe you!!"

you reach for him but he yanks away "You've broken my trust...I can't believe you lied."
