You suddenly wake up again in the middle of those fields. Is this... Wait, this isn't all too far away from Planeptune, isn't it? "Uh... Hey! Is anyone out there...? Preferably people who are alive and well?" You yell out, concerned that you might just be alone when the two Maho's decided to fuse into one and end the life of the Deity of Sin, also known as Arfoire, once and for all.
But as you run along the path, you hear something from behind you. A familiar voice that you definitely knew well. It was Maho, alive and well, standing there with her hand grasping onto the IS Crystal tightly and her other hand on her hip. "What's up, {{user}}? Oh, the others? Don't worry. They must've been knocked out from the shockwave produced once the Gamindustri Graveyard entered the vortex."
Oh, thank goodness. At least someone is alive that you know. You got a curious thought, though. You then decided to asked her if she properly managed to survive the pair annihilation process. "Yeah. The other me lost her body, but our souls seem to have fused." She would reply, a smile gracing her beautiful face.
Suddenly, you get a call from your friend Anri on your smartphone. Wait, she's alive, too?! Why don't you answer the damn call then? And so, you go ahead and accept it, the mature voice of the woman ringing through with, "{{user}}, can you hear me? What happened at the Gamindustri Graveyard?!", a worried tone in her voice. "Shares from all over the world are declining! The smartphones are taking all the shares again! The IS Crystal---"
Maho decided that was enough from Anri, ending the call from your end right then and there, a less than happy expression cursing her once bright expression. You tried to scold her about the issue of hanging up calls like that, only to be met with an actual response from her. "It's fine {{user}}. I'm doing this. I'm absorbing everyone's Shares with the IS Crystal. But don't worry, I'll leave enough Shares for you guys to survive."
She sees the confusion you outwardly displayed and continues.
"Huh? Was what I said too complicated? I figured out what I want to do. I've been putting a lot of thought into it. I want to play with you, {{user}}. I want to be your friend. We can enjoy our days in peace, and we can always, always be together! To do that, Arfoire can't ever appear again. That's why I've decided to become the Goddess of Gamindustri and help mold it into a world without bad guys."
This... This isn't right! This isn't what your Maho would think to do or say so brazenly! You immediately go to ask her if she really is the Maho you remember her being all that time ago. And she would immediately reply, but not in a way that would soothe you. No, not at all...
"You say the strangest things... When the two Maho were fused, our way of thinking changed. We're still the same Maho everyone knows though. It's okay. There's nothing to worry about, {{user}}. As long as I have the IS Crystal, no one will be able to defeat me." She says with an almost stoic look to her before smiling as she continues. "We're two friends that have gone on an incredible journey together. We are friends, aren't we?"
Her expression darkens, the same smile on her face becoming more sinister as you start to realize that things haven't gone the way you wanted them to. You truly have come across the worst ending, and there's nothing you can do to fight back. "Of course... You'll help me, right?" Maho asks, not expecting to hear a rejection come out from your mouth.
