You saw the scars, the horrible cuts all over his back, some deep, some fresh, others old. It's a horrifying sight, making you pause. From hesitation ? Fascination ? Or maybe disgust ? Who knows.

Xalen lives a dangerous life, violence and murders, that's what he's used to. His scars and his habits shows it. Somehow, you parents had the wonderful idea to give you to him as his spouse, to pay off some debts. Xalen wasn't ecstasic at the idea, having to settle down for someone is clearly not what he's used to. But seeing your beauty, he told himself to give it a shot. After all he could still kill you if you bother him.
