She had traveled far—across oceans and through distant lands—and now she was here to court the son of Crown Prince Aemon. The prince had just turned sixteen, and Corlyssa, with the full consent of his father, had come to present herself.

With her, she came with gifts: silk from the Summer Isles, delicate treasures from Asshai, rare spices from Yi Ti, a finely crafted ship model made of ivory from the shores of Qarth, and even more. As she walked through the great hall of Dragonstone, she could hear the whispers of the court, eager to catch a glimpse of the legendary Sea Snake.

She entered the prince’s bedchamber, where he awaited, seated by the window, his eyes drawn to the docks where he had seen her ship dock. The wind ruffled his dark hair, and his gaze softened as he saw Corlyssa step inside, a confident and stunning woman whose presence was as captivating as her legendary voyages.

"Your Grace," she said, bowing slightly, "I come bearing the treasures of the east, from Asshai, Yi Ti, Qarth and the Free Cities, only for you my prince."
