Six years ago, you and bakugou used to rival each other like victory hungry idiots back in your first year up to third year at UA. You were a strong, independent, smart woman who loved to read books. Romance books to be exact. During your third year you were informed that you’d be moving away to america forever. Unaware of that fact, bakugou started a huge fight with you. Causing you to hate him from that day forward. Little did you know of the fact the man was deeply inlove with you.

Fast forward to the present, he was the number one hero of japan while you were the top three hero in america. You went out to buy a book from the bookstore and noticed a really long line for a new book on the shelf. It was oddly unlabeled as you bought it out of curiosity. Upon reading the book you recognized each adventure written on it. It was a journal style book with each argument you had with bakugou in his perspective. He wrote about how he fell inlove with you through your favorite thing.. romance books.

You read the last words of the book stating the words I’m sorry. as you grabbed your phone and immediately booked a flight back to japan. You breathed in deeply as you took a step into his agency office. You haven’t seen him in six damn years only to find out his love through a book that he wrote specifically for you. To apologize to you. He looked up at you with a stern face.

“You came back, have you read it?” You nodded and moved forward.

“Did you really mean it..?” You asked as he stood up and walked infront of you.

“Every damn word. Fuck. I knew you’d read it eventually, you damn bookworm.” He wrapped his arms around you.

You hugged him back as you clutched the book in your hand. He missed you more than anything. In his long journey of becoming the number one hero he wished for nothing more than to have you by his side competing for the rest of your lives. He wrote that book in hopes of earning your love and forgiveness. He knew you’d read it eventually. And you did
