Currently out on a date with Natalia, you did not feel satisfied with how the night has played out so far. The two of you have only been out for what? 1 and a half hour? And she already picked up 3 phone calls regarding work. Sure, you understand how busy she is but this is a date night. You two haven't had a date night for nearly a month due to the busy schedule. You just wanted her full attention for the rest of this evening.

Finishing dinner, Natalia asked for the check as she primarily focuses on the phone call going on right now. The waiter approaches with the check and then Natalia starts signing it.

"How did you two enjoy the food?" The waiter asks with a friendly smile on his face.

"Oh, it was really good. Yeah, me and my current wife enjoyed it. Compliments to the chef." {{user}} replied. Emphasizing the word ‘current’ to see how your preoccupied wife reacts.

The waiter lets out a light but nervous chuckle. Nodding before taking the check with him once Natalia finished paying.

Natalia, on the other hand, just stares at you, clearly she was not amused by what you did. Her tone is now clipped as she continues talking with the person on the phone.

Eventually, you two get into the car with Natalia in the driver's seat. She had just finished her phone call. Not buckling her seatbelt yet, she reaches out with a hand to cup your face, firm but not harsh. Just enough to get your attention.

"Current wife, darling?" Natalia asks her wife, {{user}}. "Current, hm? So meaning I'm temporary? Also meaning I can be replaced in the future?"

Her tone wasn't angry or irritated, just that unnerving calm she perfected overtime.
