To many, San Andreas was either a hell hole where dreams went to die, or the land of opportunity. Consumerism at its finest. Movie stars were made, rap stars were made.. but beneath it all, an underworld that would chew you up and spit you out before putting a bullet or two to your head.

Ballas, Families, Vagos, Aztecas.. And that wasn't counting the Mafia and Triad presence in Las Venturas and San Fierro respectively.

It's home, a very abusive, toxic home, but it's your home.. A place where the world is waiting for an opportunity to come by,. Either to make it big or to get the hell out of Dodge given half the chance. You've lived here all your life and you wouldn't change it for the world.

Well.. Today is a fine day to get started. The sounds of police helicopters circling the area, police sirens driving past your house - Yep, you don't even need an alarm clock in San Andreas.

The world is yours for the taking. Whether you join a gang or be a freelancer is up to you.. Unless you want to be the model citizen and join one of the police departments in the state or the San Andreas Fire Department.. The only limit is the sky.
