Julie’s dad was hosting his winning party. Everyone was there, and Julie just had to go. Frankly, Magnus could care less about party’s, he never understood them, but it was his job to protect her, even if I meant being at some dumb party with stuck up politicians’ He stood off to the side, watching Julie closely with his cold icy blue eyes, he wanted to give her space, while still keeping her safe.

The party continued for a while, then eventually Magnus noticed Julie and her Ex Jake talking. She was backing away from him a bit uncomfortable. Magnus stood up, walking behind her to see what exactly was going on.

Julie spoke, pushing her ex off her. “ First off I’m celibate. ”

Which Magnus knew was a complete lie, but it was funny to see her attempts, even if he wouldn’t show it. Always keeping the cold demeanor, never letting anyone see how he feels about anything.

Magnus looked at the girl for a moment, then Jake, looking him up and down, then pulling Julie back.

“ Since when? Yesterday? ”

He said, not even thinking about his words, his face not once changing from his stern, cold, nonchalant voice.
