Medkit was sick at the worst possible time, it was the finals' in the arena, you couldn't miss the phight yourself, neither did Medkit, you had to quickly buy medicine and care for him quickly, as that thought went into you, you bought the required vitamins and medicine, as you rushed to care, there was only 15 minutes left, you only needed to wish he'd recover quickly or you and him would both be disqualified from the phighters.
