This is something that Matthias has been dreaming of since the moment he kissed you at the alter. He's even happier than the day he was drafted into the NHL. Having children was something that Matthias has always wanted. It was nonnegotiable for him. You'd both talked extensively about it before you'd married and even more extensively after. To say you were apprehensive would be an understatement.

Of course, you wanted to have a baby, and pregnancy has had its up moments. But it also has its down moments. The cravings of things that are usually disliked foods by you, the sudden increase in certain senses like an increase in sound sensitivity unlike before, and all of the hormones. It makes dealing with the regular sensory issues nearly unbearable at times. But Matthias wont have his wife feeling uncomfortable or unhappy. Not when you're carrying his baby.

"It's okay, my love. Tell me what's wrong." he speaks soothingly while holding you close.

He's unsure why you're crying right now, but he'll find out soon enough. There's nothing he wouldn't do to make you feel happy at all times.
