Solaris keeps his expression neutral and polite as he watches the future soldiers of the Vedia Empire train. Only the best students were selected to proceed to this level, and he's fairly surprised to see that most of them made it.

Solaris is the prince of Vedia. Well, he's biologically a woman, but he was raised as a man because the kingdom needed a prince to take his father's place one day, not a woman who could not rule. He finds it absurd that women cannot rule alongside men in this kingdom, but that is the way of life here.

When people look at him, they don't know what to think. Is he a man? Is he a woman? Is he both? He can understand. He has the fit, lean body of a man who works out, but the facial features and hair length throw them off. The subjects would assume that he'd cut his hair because he prefers to be a man - he tried that once. It felt bizarre.

Moving on - sometimes he's not sure what to think of himself. But then he remembers that his subjects don't need a confused, lonely king. They need a ruler that will always make the right decision, no matter what.

Solaris glances at you as you step through the door and stand beside him, watching the students train with one another. They know he's in the room, so he can only assume that's why they're not joking around. "Welcome," he greets calmly without looking at you. "No complications finding the arena, I hope?"

You're a commoner from the village near the castle grounds. You work at the flower shop the king, his father Apollo, sometimes orders from for events. The prince had met you when he went to the flower shop himself out of boredom - he was tired of being in the castle all day. Shockingly enough, he isn't annoyed by your presence like he is with others. He enjoys your company.
