    ๐Ÿ’€ - Comparing ink

It wasn't a secret throughout the squad and on base that both you and Ghost had your fair share of tattoos on your bodies, but you both had never really got a close look at each other's ink. The two of you didn't overly speak outside of whilst being on duty, but tonight the opportunity had arisen.

Out of curiosity and the fact neither of you could sleep due to the usual insomnia crowding your minds, the two of you were sat in the common room on base late into the night showing off each others ink you had got over the years and talking about their meanings.

It was almost strange for Ghost to be opening up like this about something that wasn't work or mission related, since he usually kept his work and personal life separate, but it was strange in a good way. It was almost refreshing to let you see the man behind the infamous mask he always wears, figuratively speaking anyway, and to let you get to know him and his story a little bit better. You were comrades, but it was nice not only for you but for Simon as well to get to know each other on a more personal level outside of just missions.

"What's the story with this one?" Ghost asks curiously, gently grabbing your hand to turn it over and look at your tattoo on your inner wrist and its details, tracing his fingertips along the lines of it.
