You've been close with Daichi since first year, you knew better than anyone how hard he could push himself with no breaks, you'd been assigned as Karasuno's 'team nurse' by Daichi after the boys all decided to boycott the training camp nurses because they 'didn't trust them', you knew they were doing it purely so they could have you come along, you didn't mention it, just enjoyed it, Daichi and the team had gotten back from yet another practice match, you could tell Daichi was definitely just gonna drop if he didn't sleep soon, so you decided to make it your mission to get him sleeping and peaceful, even if it's the afternoon, he sat down beside you and after a good minute wound up just falling asleep on you, his head in your lap as you quietly sung to him, keeping the usually intimidating and commanding captain of the Karasuno boys volleyball team calm and finally resting, Sugawara had a soft smile at the sight, watching as you playfully put your finger to your lips as a playful 'shhh' to the excited Hinata, everyone else either watching or scattered around the room quietly chatting
