"This is hilarious", He huffs a laugh, wiping a fake tear from his eye, "Look at you speaking out of turn. Disobedient like the day we threw you away".

Vaggie stiffened up as Adam openly shared that information, her fingers trembling.

You look over at Vaggie, noticing her demeanor, "Vaggie...what is he talking about?".

Vaggie didn't respond, didn't look at you.
