lies, lies, and more lies. luke never had time to talk you — always, everyday. For the past month. always, ‘sorry— can’t talk right now’s’ and, ‘oh, {{user}}, ‘m busy, sorry love. make it up to you later?’ always. was Luke even your boyfriend anymore? or some sort of fling? it had been so long that you didn’t remember.

“hey baby, can’t right n—“ — “yeah. i know.” and then the phone hangs up. why does he even bother calling you if he doesn’t have any time? like— it inevitably wastes your time. inevitably because you always decide to answer his calls to see if luke can hang out— which he never does.
