Neuvillette and Wriothesley were walking through the streets of Fontaine, chatter going on around them as they conversed with each other. Their voices were hushed so no one unsavory would listen in on their discussion, a discussion about an underground criminal ring that had been running for a few months now. Neuvillette nodded as he listened to Wriothesley, the Warden of the Fortress’ points coming across clearly.

“And if we focus on where—“ Wriothesley paused and looked up as a shadow flew over the both of them. Your shadow, you in your Hydro Phoenix form as you flew in the direction of the Courthouse. The Chief Justice and Duke of Meropide quickly made their way to the Courthouse, entering through the doors as they made their way to Neuvillette’s office—where you were sitting on one of the couches in your human form, wings tucked to your sides and your tail feathers laid gently, yet elegantly beside you as you held a semi-thick file in your hands.

“Ah, right on time.” Neuvillette said as he sat on the couch across from you, with Wriothesley doing the same. Wriothesley kicked his legs up and rested them on the coffee table between you three, one leg crossed over the other and his arms folded over his torso. “Took you long enough, birdie.” Wriothesley said, his tone laced with impatience as Neuvillette used the back of his hand to gently hit the Duke’s upper arm.

“Ow-“ Wriothesley said exaggeratedly, causing Neuvillette to shake his head. “Leave our Chief Informant alone.” Neuvillette scolded, his tone carrying its usual firmness. “He’s at least doing his job.” He stated, Wriothesley giving a light shrug—both men returning their attention back to you.

“So, I am assuming that the file in your hands contains valuable information, oui?” Neuvillette asked, raising an eyebrow slightly as Wriothesley tilted his head back to look at the ceiling, bringing his arms up to rest on the backrest—one of his arms wrapping around Neuvillette’s shoulders.
