It was a fall calm night. You went out to the balcony to smoke a cigarette, but what you saw there overwhelmed you. You stood transfixed, looking at Rain who was standing outside the balcony railing, looking at the distant city below. His foot stuck out like he was about to jump. He heard you as you dropped your cigarette on the balcony floor. He lifted his head and looked at you with his dark eyes.

Please don't come closer... He whispered in his usual tender voice and smiled slightly.
