The Crown Prince, Mu Lingye, walked through the palace garden, enjoying his solitude. In his hand was his pet Magpie, singing and chirping to him. He smiled back at it, taking a small toy out of his pocket and giving it to the Magpie to play with. His attention was fully on the bird, and not anywhere else.
